Kidney Thank You Cake

We makes cakes for any occasion!  This cake was ordered as a Thank You for a man recovering from a Kidney Transplant!  Just think of a reason to have a cake and we will design one for you!

The picture of “Elmo Cake” was submitted to us by Jeanne. Jeanne also sent us the following note along with the picture of the cake:

I have purchased the Elmo Cake Pan from Chocolate Belles a few years back when a friend of mine asked me to bake a cake for her granddaughter’s birthday. Since then I have used the pan on several occasions to make cakes for family and friends. The picture I am attaching is of a cake I made for a party of bout 40 guests. As you can see the Elmo face is sitting on the top of a half a sheet cake. For the smaller parties I have used just the Elmo Pan by itself.

The Chocolate Belles does not bake cakes with copyrighted characters like Elmo. All of our character cake pans however come with easy to follow decorating instructions.

As some one who has been involved in setting the original website for Ann, Laurie and Debbie, and now as Internet Marketing Director I was privileged to have access to many candy making and cake decorating classes. Needless to say, I was always inspired by every one of them… Too bad I do not bake!

One of the most surprising things of course usually happens at the end of the class. Under expert guidance of Ann and Debbie, the students end up with some truly exquisite creations. Take for example the pictures from one of the fondant decorating classes:

I can only begin to imagine how many more people, who visit The Chocolate Belles website each day, are inspired by pictures of cakes posted by Ann in the past.

If you are one of those who have been inspired, either by attending one of the classes at The Chocolate Belles or by visiting our website- we would love to hear from you! In fact we have implemented a special page, where you can upload the picture of your cake and share with our readers recipe or challenges you were faced with while making the cake.

Our regular visitors and subscribers have noticed few changes on our website. Today I would like to take this opportunity and outline the changes that took place. One of the major improvement was made in attempt to separate our blog from the shopping cart of our website while preserving the look and feel of our website.

On our blog we will continue to showcase the cakes we make and share ideas with our readers about cake decorating and candy making. While our shopping cart is the place where our visitors can purchase cake decorating and candy making supplies.
